About GNV Holiday Lights

GNV Holiday Lights is co-owned by long-time best friends, Garrett Ross and Dylan Mulhearn. One afternoon while answering calls for his father's electrical service company, Dylan received a call from a customer asking for holiday light installation, a service his father's business didn’t provide. Dylan immediately thought to himself “I can do that” and that evening he went to his friend Garrett with the idea and GNV Holiday Lights was born. The two got to work and created flyers advertising their business and went door to door hanging said flyers in hopes of gaining some business. The success of the flyers and organic word of mouth led to a successful first season and a newfound passion for entrepreneurship and small business ownership. Over the past few years, GNV Holiday Lights developed from a small idea between two college students to a thriving small business. As GNV Holiday lights grows, Dylan and Garrett look forward to engaging with Gainesville and surrounding communities to provide elegant holiday lighting to brighten up the season!

Co-Owner

Dylan Mulhearn

Dylan was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. Dylan attended Mississippi State University and started GNV Holiday lights shortly after he returned home. Dylan is a third-generation business owner in the Gainesville community following his father and grandfather. With GNV Holiday Lights, Dylan has mixed his love for the holiday season with his passion for entrepreneurship and looks forward to continuing to provide elegant lighting to Gainesville and surrounding areas.

Garrett Ross

Garrett has been in the Gainesville area for nearly 20 years. He will soon be a second-generation University of Florida graduate. He followed in his father's footsteps in becoming a small business owner here in Gainesville. Garrett brings his enthusiasm for people as well as hard work to the team here at GNV Holiday lights to make sure everyone we service has an enjoyable experience.
